12:00-4:30: Workshop: A Closer Look: Analyzing and Responding to Writing for Children. Participants will work in facilitated small groups to analyze and respond to actual examples of children's literature (English or Kannada). Issues that come up in each small group, for example, related to genre, presentation of content, role of illustrations, morals and values, censorship, etc., will be shared with the larger group in a bilingual mode.
